Acunetix Website Hacked and Defaced

Acunetix website were take offline, acunetix website hacked

One of the most popular web application security scanner "Acunetix" official website has been got hacked and defaced by hacker.

On 4th June, official website (acunetix.com) and its blog were showing deface page (see image) after athe hack.

At the time of writing, the site were take offline and show 403 error message. Till yet its not been clear that which vulnerable was exploited by hackers which leads to defacement of the site.

This hack proves that nothing is secured, even you are developing a security products or applications.
