Orange Telecom Suffers from Data Breach Second Time
France Telecom firm 'Orange' face the another data breach in a year. After the cyber attacks on February, Orange have admitted that company have suffers from another data breach. Company have announced that the cyber hackers have stolen the personal data of 1.3 million customers from its online portal.
Hackers have stolen the data of the customers which includes Customer name, date of birth, emails,and contact details (both mobile and fixed line).
The data breached was detected by the company on April 18, but company was investing the breach and measuring the breach affects. Yesterday, company have announced after the investigation of the breach, and also ensure that the security holes leveraged by the hackers have been patched.
Precautions for the customers

The data recovered could be used to contact those concerned by email, SMS or by phone, particularly for phishing purposes," company said in an statement.
Precautions for the customers
- Company have warned its users that attacker use the personal details for phishing attacks or Social engineering.
- Be careful which clicking on any of the links on emails.
- Check the URL of the webpage that ask for any of the personal information or any financial data.
- Change the password of the all the online accounts that are associated with the emails.
Last time Orange suffers from the major data breach in which about 800,000 users data have been stolen including user's emails, password, address, and phone numbers.
Company have reported the incident to the authorities and also filled a official police complaint on the breach.
