Facebook Messenger payments are now available in NYC

Two months before, social giant have rolled out mobile payments features in its Messenger app, which allows users send money to their Facebook friends just from the Facebook Messenger. The features roll out has so far been pretty slow, available in only select parts of the US. Today the feature becomes available in New York City (and surrounding areas).

Now sending money to your Facebook friends gets more easier. Now the cash amount will be highlighting in the chats. You have to just click on the desire amount and you will be redirected to Payment page.

Another thing is that, now the Send money features is also available on the desktop version of the Facebook. You can see the $ sign on the  chat box of your friends. You can now pay individual friends without having to leave the conversation. Others in the chat will be able to see who paid whom, and how much.

The same features is also available in the Group chat too. People in the group conversation will be able to see who paid whom and for how much.
