Tesco Customer's data Leaked Online

Once again there is a bad news for the online shoppers. Another data breach of shopping site "TESCO" have to faced after Target. As on the Valentine day everyone is busy on celebrating valentine, hackers are hacking into the shopping sites database at the same time.

TESCO PLC  (a British multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer headquartered in Cheshunt),  have to suffer from the data theft on Thursday. Some unknown hacker have hacked and leaked the users credential details along with users personal information on Pastebin. This list contains over 2,240 users credential of Tesco, online shopping site.

Tesco spokesman says,
“We take the security of our customers' data extremely seriously and are urgently investigating these claims.”
“We have contacted all customers who may have been affected and are committed to ensuring that none of them miss out as a result of this. We will issue replacement vouchers to the very small numbers who are affected."
How hackers have maganed to gain these accounts is not been cleared yet, but some expert says that, hackers have compiled the stolen details from other websites and then found that Tesco customers used the same username and password combination as those in previous hacks against.

TESCO have adviced its customer to use the different logins for different sites. Additionally they mention that, users cannot blame all the security issue to service provider. Users were asked to used the a pass-phrases that include lower case, upper case, numbers, special symbols which will also help you increase the complexity for guessing it.

Earlier last year, during Christmas holiday, another online shopping site "Target" had suffered from the huge data breach on which about 40 million details of Credit/Debit card have been stolen.
