Protect your personal data

protect your data, secure your information, back up your data and information, online back up, protect you data.

In today's world, the data that are present in your computer or any of the gadgets like Mobile, I-phone, tablets etc. is very much sensitive. All of them are wish to secure it, as the online Malware activities and kind of Malware and virus is increasing day by day.
There are many of the options to prevent from it. such as Installed Antivirus or Anti Malware  firewall on your computer system. But that's is not sufficient for it. Now a days there is a technology known as "Cloud Computing" which is the other option to back up your data and information's.

Online backup of your data and information is quite effective  There are many company's which give this kind of services. Even Google is also providing Cloud computing, but they all have some of the limits.
there is another option for  this. It is a small software that can be quite effective on this. Software name is "Digital life boat".
Digital life boat is of just 4.5 mb and you have to just install it. While Installation it will ask for the account. I you don't have account then just put the email address and password in the 2nd steps of the Installation. after that complete the installation.
After installation you will have this window, with a tab Home, backup, restore.. etc.
In Backup tab there is option to select the files that you want to backup. By this option you can select the file that you want to back it up.
Once the File Selector is open you can navigate by using the tree in the left hand window or by double clicking down through the folders in the right hand pane. Use the check box to add or remove files and folders from your backup set. When you check the box next to a folder all files and folders below it will also be included and similarly if you unchecked the box on a folder all files and folders below that will not be included in your backup.

The check boxes at the top for Backed Up, Pending Backup, Unable to Back Up and Not included are used as filters to see the file and folders in each of those categories. If you unchecked everything but Pending Backup for example you will only see listed the files that are still waiting to be backed up.
The Second method is to use our right click menu.

Go to the Start Menu and click on Computer. This opens the Windows Explorer window.
On any file folder, you can right click and a gray dialog box (or "pop up menu") will appear. You will see Digital Lifeboat in that dialog box. Move your mouse over it and it will open another level which will say one of two things:

1. "File/Folder Included" means that everything in that folder is being backed up and the only change you can make is to "Exclude this File/Folder."
2. "File/Folder Not Included" means that nothing in that folder is being backed up and the only change you can make is "Include this File/Folder."

You may find a 3rd message over the "Windows", "Program Files," or other system folders, and it will say "Selected item is a system file and not eligible for backup." We do not back up applications or other system files.

How to include or exclude a single file from being backed up
If you wish to exclude a single file from being backed up, you can go to the folder, and sub folder if appropriate, and then follow the same approach outlined above.
On the specific file, you right click and a gray dialog box (or "pop up menu") will appear. You will see Digital Lifeboat in that dialog box. Move your mouse over it and it will open another level which will say one of two things:
1. "File/Folder Included" means that file is being backed up and the only change you can make is to "Exclude this File/Folder."

2. "File/Folder Not Included" means the file is not being backed up and the only change you can make is to "Include this File/Folder."
