The company is building much-needed cheap tablet Aakash-2, Datavind IIT Bombay upgraded version of it is given to the test. The company said Sunday that the Aakash-2 will come into the market in October. It will have Nearly three-hour battery backup in the new heaven, new features, including touchscreen capacity. The company has ordered 55 million tablet Aakash-2. Everyday, company is making approximately 2,000 tablets.

Suneet Singh Tuli, CEO of Datavind "The Aakash-2 is testing new IITs. It does not set a date yet to launch, but will be in your hands in two to three weeks. " Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal also want it to be unloaded at the October. Its launch is now in the hands of the minister.
